Instructions to make Tomato Dal:
- Wash the tur dal nicely till the water runs clear. Add fresh water to it and cook in a rice cooker or steamer for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep aside.

- Add the cooked dal. Add some hot water and adjust it's consistency. Cook till it comes to a boil. Off the flame.
- Garnish with lemon juice and coriander leaves.
- Serve warm with rice/roti and a vegetable dish and boondi curd.
