  8. Saute onion in remaining stick of butter until soft.
  9. Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
  10. Drain cabbage. Combine half of cooked cabbage with noodles, pour onion and butter over mixture and stir.
  11. Add salt to taste.
  12. Freeze remaining drained cabbage for future use. I get 2 batches of Haluski from 1 medium head of cabbage.
