- Wash bean very well to remove the bean coat, soak for 10 mins to make it soft.Remove from water into a clean bowl,add your washed pepper,onion and grind together.
- Pour grounded paste into a clean bowl,pour palm oil,maggi cube,crayfish, salt and stirr very well to mix evenly.Add little water and stirr properly,mixture should not be too watery
- Wash banana leaf,one cup paste to one banana leaf measurement should be used.wrap to cover up the mixture.
- Put washed gravel into a clean pot with little water,this prevents water from entering into the wrapped mixture.
- Put the wrapped mixture into the pot and turn on heat, add water little by little enough to cook.
- Moi moi is ready.can be eaten with soaked garri or pap
