- Take a potato masher or roll pin(Belan) with help of it split peanuts.
- Heat a pan. Add 1 tablespoon ghee. Now add 250 grams jaggery.
- Add 2 tablespoons of water. In the starting, you can keep the flame. once bubbles start coming. keep the flame low. Keep stirring.
- To check whether chasni(syrup) is ready or not. Take some water in a bowl. Drop the few drops of chasni(syrup) in the water if it gets hard it means the syrup(chasni) is ready.
- Now add roasted and split peanuts in the syrup. Mix it well.
- Grease back side of thali or tray with some ghee/oil.
- Now spread hot mixture on the thali. Spread it evenly. With the help of a rolling pin or flat spoon make it flat surface of the mixture.
- Cut into strips when the mixture is a little hot. Don't allow cool completely.
- Let it cool for 5 to 10 mins. Take out chikki with help of knife. Our crunchy and delicious peanuts chikki are ready to serve.
