  2. Make ready 1 cup dry roasted wheat flour
  3. Get 1 cup peanuts (dry roasted and powdered)

  5. Get 1 cup powdered sugar
  6. Make ready 1 cup clarified butter (ghee)
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp edible gum/dink
  8. Get 2 tsp clarified butter for frying edible gum
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped cashews
  10. Take 2 tbsp chopped almonds
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp raisins
  12. Take 1 tsp cardamom powder
  13. Prepare 3-4 tbsp oil for frying flatten rice

Ladoo are one of the most made sweet I mostly make the different kinds of ladoos without using sugar and much ghee. I have been making these dates sesame laddu for sometime now since. This sesame laddu/ellu laddu is very easy to make, flavorful and packed with many nutrients. I have added peanuts to give the laddu some texture.

Instructions to make Sesame and flatten rice laddu:
  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry flatten rice. Let it cool down completely. Crush with hands to form a coarse powder.
  2. Now in a big mixing bowl, take roasted wheat flour, powdered sesame, powdered peanuts, powdered sugar mix it well and keep it aside.
  3. Now heat 2 tsp ghee in a pan and fry edible gum on medium flame till it puffed up well. Now crush it little bit in a mortar and pestle. Mix it with sesame mixture.
  4. Now add in the crushed flatten rice to this mixture, and mix well.
  5. Now melt 1 cup ghee in a pan and pour it over the mixture of sesame, flatten rice and edible gum, add dry fruits and elaichi powder.
  6. Mix everything very well and make lemon sized laddus.
