  12. Get 1 tsp Ghee

Each variety of chikki is named depending upon the ingredients used. Type of Chikki Available: Sesame, Coconut Chikki, Groundnut Chikki, Jaggery Chikki, Til Chikki. Steps to make Three types chikki:
  1. Heat a pan take grated gud and add a tsp of ghee
  2. Stir continuously while gud is melting.
  3. Gud melts it will start forming a lot of bubbles. Stir continuously whiteout stopping.
  4. After a while the bubbles will disappear and gud will form soft paste like slurry. Now is time to add daliya.
  5. Turn off the gas and daliya in hot gud mixture.mix well.
  6. Without wasting any time take the daliya and gud mixture on rolling board and with the help of rolling pin make a flat disc around 1/4inch thick.
  7. Using a knife make a cut the chikki.
  8. Once cooled separate each pieces and store them in an air tight container.
  9. Sesame chikki, peanut chikki can be done similarly following the same method.
