  1. Take 1 cup peanuts
  2. Prepare 3/4 cup sugar

Instructions to make Peanut chikki or peanut baar:
  1. Grease plate and set aside.
  2. Dry roast the peanuts on medium heat stirring continuously for about 6 to 7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove from pan, wait till they cool off rub between your palms and remove most of the skin.
  4. Lightly crush the peanuts.
  5. In a heavy bottom nonstick pan, over medium high heat melt the sugar keep stirring the sugar continuously till sugar start melting and changing the colour to light brown.
  6. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  7. Turn off the heat as soon it comes to golden brown in colour.
  8. Note: when sugar starts melting it changes the colour very quickly and it can easily burn.
  9. Add peanuts stir quickly.
  10. Pour over the greased plate and spread evenly.
  11. When hot cut them into square.
  12. Store them in air tight container.
