To make authentic zha jiang mian, we need yellow soybean paste(黄豆酱). I really like the zha jiang mian noodle there. Zha jiang mian is originated from northern China. Zha jiang means bean sauce and mian means noodles in Tian mian jiang literally means sweet noodle sauce.
