I made this fabulous plum jam during summer in Japan. My aunt got a plum tree and I have access to plenty of organic plums. One of my coworkers at my day job brought in some Japanese plums from his backyard tree.

  2. Take 3 tbsp Plum jam

Steps to make Ume Plum Jam Pie:
  1. Defrost the pastry to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 200℃.
  2. Cut the pie pastry sheet in half. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on one half and top that with plum jam. Leave 1 cm clean around the edges.
  3. Brush the beaten egg around the sides.
  4. Make cuts in the other half of the pastry, leaving space around the edges.
  5. Place it on top of the sheet covered with jam and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the beaten egg across the whole surface for an attractive finish.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, and it's done!
